The Practical Aquaponics 2 media bed system is perfect for a large family wanting to become food independent, a small Restaurant that would like to produce its own premium, fresh herbs and greens, or a tourism/hunting lodge that has speciality food requirements for high end guests.

All of our systems are designed with very low energy requirements and are therefore ideal for solar applications. The 2-Bed system can be easily extended to include Towers, Buckets and additional Raft Systems, as well as wicking beds for root and tuber type crops.

It also includes 1 Media Solids Trap (MST) and 1 Oxidising Solids Trap (OST). Also includes 2 Aquarium Thermostat heaters and air and water pumps.
