Proven Aquaponics systems are the future of sustainable food production technology because it is the only technique that enables us to a) recirculate and rehabilitate the water that we use; b) produce nutrient dense, chemical-free, naturally produced food that is in high demand and easy to sell; and c) has a low carbon footprint and minimum negative impact on the environment. It is an extremely powerful production system. But it is currently poorly understood by many, even in the mainstream. It is, in reality, an extremely complex, albeit fascinating, natural food production method that harnesses an entire ecology to bio-remediate water and grow healthy plants. We at PA SA have spent the last 10 years practically researching and mastering the dynamics of Aquaponics thoroughly in theory and in practice. We have designed and developed proven Modular Aquaponics systems of varying sizes that are tried and tested, and are appropriate for Southern African conditions, and we have a unique, modular approach to production that enables flexibility and maximum control of the business, reducing risk of failure and which sets us apart from other Aquaponics industry players.
